How to Submit an ABSTRACT 

Abstract submission can be done ONLINE only at the menu "Abstract Submission" https://www.cice.com.br/temas-livres.php) Follow the instructions and fill in all fields with the full name, mobile number and email address of each author and co-author. Avoid  abbreviating co-author names, using only the first and last name or repeating the same email address for  all author and co-authors  ATTENTION: THE AUTHOR AND CO-AUTHORS NAMES WILL APPEAR ON THE CERTIFICATE EXACTLY AS  SUBMITTED AND THERE WILL BE NO SUBSEQUENT CORRECTION.

The DEADLINE for submission is 03/23/ 2026 

ONLY ABSTRACTS WITH THE PRESENTING AUTHOR REGULARLY  REGISTERED FOR THE CONGRESS  WILL BE  PRESENTED. REGISTRATIONS OF CO-AUTHORS OR HEADS OF DEPARTMENT ARE EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED, BUT DO NOT COUNT FOR THIS PURPOSE.

SELECT AMONG THE TWO AVAILABLE CATEGORIES (1. Clinical Research, 2. Case Report) 

The BEST ABSTRACTS will be selected for the  EDWARD B. DIETHRICH AWARD and will be presented at the  Plenary Session. The  winners will be revealed in the EDWARD B. DIETHRICH Awarding Session the Main Auditorium. The prizes are:

1st Place: R$ 6000.00, 2nd Place: R$ 3000.00; 3rd Place R$1500.00

Top medical student abstracts will run for the FAUSTO MIRANDA Jr Award. The winners will be revealed at  the FAUSTO MIRANDA Jr Awarding Ceremony also in the Main Auditorium.

The prizes are:

1st Place: R$ 2000.00, 2nd Place: R$ 1000.00; 3rd Place R$ 500.00

The status of your Free Topic can be followed ONLINE, just log in to the  congress website and go to "My Account". 

CERTIFICATE

ONLY ONE CERTIFICATE WILL BE PROVIDED TO THE PRESENTING AUTHOR, stating the names of all co-authors AS THEY WERE SUBMITTED. NO CORRECTION OR ADDITION OF NEW CO-AUTHORS WILL BE MADE TO PREVIOUSLY SUBMITTED ABSTRACTS. THEREFORE BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL WHEN FILLING IN THE DATA OF THE PRESENTING AUTHOR AND CO-AUTHORS.
